Dr. Adriaan Nel is a passionate physician with a diverse international background and extensive experience in primary care. He completed his medical education at Stellenbosch University in South Africa, where he gained valuable experience working in HIV care at some of the country's busiest hospitals.

After relocating to Canada, Dr. Nel furthered his primary care training by obtaining the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada examinations and achieving board certification as a Family Physician while residing in Vancouver. As a certified Family Physician, Dr Nel enjoys being involved in the care of the whole family and patients of all ages.

In 2018, Dr. Nel moved to Australia, where he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Since then, he has been serving the community in Darlinghurst, dedicated in applying his experience to provide high-quality care.

Dr Adriaan Nel has an interest in Men's Health and Sexual Health. He is an S100 HIV prescriber, which enables him to offer treatment for those living with HIV.

In addition to his primary qualifications, Dr. Nel holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology, underscoring his dedication to well rounded general practice and management of a wide array of dermatological conditions.

Dr Nel is the Lead Doctor for Equality Health, a healthcare service for the LGBTIQA+ community. His leadership in this field highlights his commitment to equity and his dedication to addressing the unique healthcare needs of diverse populations.
